Ed Sheeran bekerjasama dengan Warner Music Group, membentuk sebuah label rekaman bernama "Gingerbread Records". Dalam wawancaranya bersama Nova FM, rekan duet Taylor Swift untuk lagu "Everything Has Changed" ini mengungkapkan rencana jangka panjangnya untuk membangun Gingerbread Records. Langkah pelantun "Thingking Out Loud" ini untuk membuka label rekaman sebenarnya bermula ketika ia menemukan banyak penulis lagu maupun penyanyi berbakat di sela turnya. Sayangnya, kala itu Ed belum bisa berbuat banyak hal.Setelah memiliki label rekaman sendiri, Ed optimis dapat membantu para musisi berbakat untuk merintis kariernya.
